William Schnack is an autodidact. Unhappy with the school system and the society that forced him to go to it, William dropped out and got a GED the moment he was legally able to. It wasn’t that he didn’t want to learn-- no, he actually did want to learn and so he began to teach himself. This included philosophy and building his character. He soon found himself on a mission to not just help himself but to help others, because it became clear that an individual didn’t just need to be the best version of themselves, but had to be in a society that improved and added to who we are as people, thus creating a feedback loop that can never be achieved alone. He, like many of us, wants to help others. He wants the world to be a better place, and he isn’t ok with going along with a narrative that is harmful.
So, who am I, and why am I doing the work I am doing of trying to get his writings out there and into the hands of those who need it? My name is Teresa and I, like William, want a better world. I too want to help people. I was lucky enough to cross paths with William and, while I am his wife, our relationship goes beyond just husband and wife. With Will, I have a person in my life that actually cares about me, the world, and has dedicated his life to contribute to that mission. As an individual I have never met anyone who has had such a positive impact on me and my life. I was able to ask him questions and get one-on-one help (something that he will extend to anyone free of charge who actually wants to learn) and guidance. For what he has contributed to my personal development, I am forever grateful. And now, I too am on the path of wanting more than just what I can do as an individual. I want others to go through a similar transformation, to feel the joy and hope and, as crazy as it sounds, the sadness and despair of seeing the alternative we are all constantly pushed into, an alternative we are told is how things have to be. It isn’t that I want, or that I want you, to feel pain, it is that I understand that, that pain is the catalyst for doing something else. I am writing this today not just because I am full of love and inspiration, but because I have to go out into the world-- under duress and be put through figurative Hell. I live in the same world as you. I see you and I want you to see me. More importantly, I want to point you to the information that can help us do better-- together!
It isn’t that the journey is hard or that the information is too difficult to grasp-- trust me, once you start to understand the concepts it becomes painstakingly obvious and simple. However, getting past the hurdle of learning something so different from the propaganda and half-truths we have been told our whole lives does actually take effort. Learning new words and learning the real definitions of words takes time. And unless someone else is on the same journey as you, it is difficult to talk to them because the words mean something else to them so you might feel as if you can’t share this with those in your life you want to (if you do they may just not seem to care because they don’t understand). In this case, you can message Will or I, or you can go to the forum on the Ambiarchy website and be a part of creating an online community where you can talk and share with others on the same page as you. And, if you are interested, let us know because we do want to host a training course.
Our hurdle is the increasing control of information online, deplatforming, shadow banning, and gate keeping. We also don’t have a ton of money to throw into marketing a free product-- information-- and we worry if we did would it actually work or would we lose even more money? Will’s work is arguably the most important work in our lifetime, and he pours all his time into it with no returns. It feels as if no one cares. Either he doesn’t belong in this world, and I am an anomaly or this truly is groundbreaking, soul enhancing, and the way of the future.
Are there any others out there who are unhappy with the current system? Who so far have not been convinced of the other alternatives, or are at least open and willing to ask questions? Who want to improve themselves? Who isn’t afraid to be vulnerable and face the facts? Who can withhold judgment until they actually understand what is being said, and then see if it holds up? Who can reach out to us via messages or emails to show that we are not just wasting our time (we legit need to know how broken or not broken the internet is)?
So, what is the message that is so life-changing? First, let me say that William Schnacks’ Book of Mutualism is more than 1,000 pages for a reason. The nuances of explaining entails explaining other necessary information. But I will do my best to reduce this down to three core concepts to give you a better idea:
Why these three things? Well, for us to really have inspiration to do anything at all, be it for ourselves or each other, we have to understand who we are, our part, who others are, and their part. We have to be able to love ourselves, each other, and everything. This love will create a path forward. What is that path? It is an emotion backed by knowledge, it is mental/spiritual, it is syntropic. The future is pulling us forward with our love and wisdom. We want to have purpose, we search for our purpose, we want to understand our purpose, and act on our purpose. It is when we are hindered that we start to feel pain. It hurts to not be able to fulfill our purpose. We also need each other to do this, we need to work together, we need to be understood and appreciated and loved. We want to give back, we want to help, we want to love. Syntropy is the coming together of things, the building. That is what we do, that is the future. We build and we create, that is what life does. While we as individuals will eventually die, what we have created and built will contribute to the future even beyond our own lives. We, being alive, take what life has already made and continue to improve it. Ultimately this need to love and be loved is to understand and to be understood. It is to have freedom and to give freedom. It is to have mutualism and to give as much as we receive.
William Schnack’s work explains how the economy can achieve this, how we might be able to create systems that will allow for it, and how the current ones have and have not hit the mark for some and all of us. Everything you could need and more. But more importantly it is not the end all, it is just the beginning. There are countless ways we all can contribute (if you think of any reach out to us). We have the world to build, we have each other to love, and we have nothing but ignorance in our way.
